| Ideally situated for exploring some of the most beautiful and
wild areas of Scotland, Invercannich is on the doorstep of Glens
Affric and Cannich and close to Glen Srathfarrar. Three of the
most majestic glens in Scotland which have much of the Highland’s
wildlife living there with plenty of walking and cycling. The
many rivers and lochs in the local area have some fantastic fishing
with boats and permits available locally for hire. Aigas 9 hole
golf course is only 10 miles away. Although, situated deep
in the country – there are villages with restaurants and
facilities which are not too far away. Cannich has a shop/post
office, two bar/restaurants and a playpark. Drumnadrochit and
Beauly, both around 15 miles away, have several shops, café/restaurants,
Tourist information centre, and garages. Drumnadrochit also
has the Loch Ness Monster Centre and nearby Urquhart Castle.
How to get here: From Inverness take the A82
to Drumnadrochit. Turn right along the A831 signposted to Cannich
(15miles). At junction in Cannich, turn right, through traffic
lights and over the bridge. Invercannich farm is 1 kilometre
along the road on the right.
